Monte Carlo is the epitome of luxury for many, not least because of the many stars and starlets who like to call the southern European city-state their second home. Let’s start with the old town of the popular city-state, the so-called Monaco-Ville. Whoever strolls through it will probably fall in love with the many winding alleys with their almost picturesque houses.

Another highlight of Monte Carlo is the palace of the Grimaldi family. The Palais du Prince, the official residence of the Prince of Monaco. It is located on a hill that is reached after a walk of approximately 10 to 15 minutes. From which one you have a wonderful view of the old town and the harbor of Monaco.

Only a five-minute walk from the palace is the Jardin Exotique. A botanical garden where various exotic plant species from Europe, South America, Africa, and the Middle East await you.

Another gem of Monte Carlo is of course the world-famous Casino of Monte-Carlo. A truly magnificent building by the French architect Charles Garnier, whose visit is simply indispensable when visiting Monaco.
